Rolly trolls Tank with piñata beating

Let’s give Rolando Romero some credit here, he’s making the most of this upcoming opportunity against Gervonta Davis to have lots of fun in the build-up, let’s just hope he’s putting in just as much work inside the gym as well. Here we’ve got a clip of Romero putting on a show for the cameras, beating up a life-size piñata version of Gervonta Davis — in the form of a mermaid.

Romero clocks the piñata in the face, stomps it on the ground, and then tosses it underneath a car which then runs it over. Rolly was plenty please with himself when it was all said and done, holding the head of the piñata up for the camera with Davis’ face on it.

With this showing I can’t help but think back to the time when Curtis Stevens once pulled a similar move leading into his fight against Gennadiy Golovkin. His camera stunt started like this…

But the fight itself quickly turned into this…

We’ll see if Rolly can avoid the same fate.
