Anita Lindblom has passed away at the age of 82. She was a big star in her own right when she met the by then former EBU light middleweight champion Bo Hogberg but together they reached superstardom in a relationship that had it all and the media just loved it.

For Hogberg it meant he drifted away from boxing and eventually landed in jail while Lindblom faced a lot of problems with the taxman and left Sweden and never really got her career back on track. Her version of ‘You Can Have Her’ from 1961 is a classic with the Swedish lyrics written by Stickan Andersson, who some 15 years later hit the big time as manager for ABBA.
