Fortuna-Lozada: Live coverage, 7 pm ET

Fighting

This evening at 7 pm ET live on FS1, Premier Boxing Champions is back with a Saturday night card featuring lightweights Javier Fortuna and Antonio Lozada in the 10-round main event. BLH will be here with live fight-by-right results and updates, plus discussion in the comments section of this post.

The 31-year-old Fortuna was supposed to fight Luke Campbell for the vacant WBC title early this year, then was set to fight Jorge Linares in August. Both bouts fell through, but he’s returning to action instead of sitting and taking a full calendar year off, having not fought since Nov. 2019 anyway.

Lozada, 30, is best-known for his 2018 upset of Felix Verdejo, but is 0-2-1 in his last three fights, and the only notable name in that trio of bouts was Jose Pedraza. But Lozada is a tough scrapper, a guy who can be a problem if he’s overlooked, and he can punch.
