FITE PPV, 9:00 pm ET, BKFC KnuckleMania. BKFC are back with a card they are really banking on kicking up some interest, featuring the bare knuckle debut of former UFC darling Paige VanZant in the main event against Britain Hart, plus what could be a fantastic action fight between lightweight champ Johnny Bedford and Dat Nguyen. This is a big show for BKFC, who have tried to quietly and steadily build a bit of a base, hoping for something notable to really promote the hell out of, and they’re going for it with this one. You can order the PPV from FITE at $39.99 at this link, and this will not be part of the BKTV subscription you might otherwise have, this is a straight pay-per-view where they’re trying to make some real money with VanZant’s name attached. These are always fun shows to watch from an action standpoint. We’ll be here, as always. BLH will have live coverage.
Saturday, Feb. 6
ESPN+, 1:00 pm ET, Karim Guerfi vs Lee McGregor. This is an overdue fight, with Guerfi defending his European bantamweight title against McGregor, a house favorite at MTK Global and a legit rising prospect. Guerfi is very good at the European level, but if McGregor is what he’s supposed to be as a possible world title contender, he should win. But we have to see if that’s really the case or just hype. The show from Dubai will also feature Sean McComb facing Gavin Gwynne for the vacant Commonwealth lightweight title, plus more. BLH will have live coverage.
