The scores were 115-112, 116-111 and 117-110.
Broner was snapping a two-year layoff, with his last fight taking place back in January of 2019, when he lost a twelve round unanimous decision to Manny Pacquiao.
The fight was much closer than what the official cards indicated from the judges. Santiago lost a point for hitting after the bell. Broner had given up much of the first half, but then picked things up in the last six rounds of the fight.
