The contest will headline a Showtime Pay-Per-View event from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Miami, Florida.
The 44-year-old Mayweather, a five division world champion who retired back in August of 2017, is a tremendous favorite to win the fight.
Paul, 26-years-old, made his pro debut in 2019, and lost a controversial six round decision to Youtube rival KSI.
Mayweather weighed in at 155-pounds, one pound above the junior middleweight limit.
And Paul, who has an obvious edge in size, came in a lot bigger at 189.5-pounds – at the cruiserweight level.
In their bout, knockdowns and knockouts will be allowed, 10-ounce gloves will be used, but there won’t be an official winner announced if the contest goes the full distance. The rounds will not be scored by official judges.
Also on the card, two-division champion Badou Jack will face unbeaten Dervin Colina, who meet in the 10-round light heavyweight co-main event, and former unified champion “Swift” Jarrett Hurd faces veteran contender Luis Arias, in a 10-round attraction.
And, former NFL star Chad Johnson and versatile fighter Brian Maxwell will collide, as Johnson makes his boxing debut in a special exhibition to kick off the pay-per-view telecast.
