To be honest not that much. It is certainly closer than the betting odds suggest but López has operated at a much higher level and his victory against Lomachenko far exceeds anything Kambosos has achieved.

You learn a lot about a fighter the first time they have a huge win like Lomachenko. But his form guide going into Lomachenko was very good. Kambosos, on the back of a split decision over Lee Selby, I think this is a bridge too far. I expect López to carry on where he left off with a spectacular win.

Kambosos looks like the type of fighter who wants to come forward and engage at all costs which could make for an entertaining fight. But he doesn’t have the technical skills to deal with López. The bookies’ odds should be higher on Kambosos than they are.

The only possibility I can see would be in relation to the countless delays that perhaps Teófimo’s mind wouldn’t 100 per cent be on the job but again I can’t see it. I don’t give him much of a chance. I think Teófimo López is too good in all departments.
