According to ABC News 13, former world champion Robert Easter was placed on two years of probation on Tuesday after he was found guilty of assault charges.
Easter was found guilty of assault charges earlier this month after he changed his plea to no contest. He also was ordered to have no contact with the victim and complete an anger management program.
The once-beaten boxer was accused of punching a woman in the face at Bucks Rack City strip club in August.
According to police records, Easter allegedly hit a 28-year-old woman on the left side of her face, causing the woman to lose consciousness. The victim claimed to police that Easter spit on her before punching her.
He was charged with assault (simple) of knowingly attempting or causing physical harm to another or another’s unborn.
Easter (23-1-1, 14 KOs) has been out of the ring since February of this year, when he picked up a twelve round decision win over Ryan Martin. It was Easter’s first fight since making his junior welterweight debut in October of 2019, with a decision win over Adrian Granados.
Easter held the IBF lightweight title from 2016 to 2018. He lost the title in July of 2018 when he was dropped and decisioned by Mike Garcia. He’s gone 2-0-1 since that defeat.
As a junior welterweight, Easter is ranked at number eight by the IBF.
