Wayne Alexander (Former European light-middleweight champion)
The best one-punch knockout I’ve seen delivered by a British boxer happened when Pat Barrett fought Efrem Calamati for the European light-welterweight title in Italy in 1990. The right hand knockout punch was brutal.
Chris Billam-Smith (Current European cruiserweight champion)
It would have to be Wayne Alexander vs. Takaloo. Wayne was hurt badly to the body but just tucked up while walking back and timed the finishing shot perfectly.
Tyrone McKenna (Super-lightweight contender)
If talking British boxers, it would have to be Carl Froch knocking out George Groves in the second fight. And you might not recall but it was in front of 80,000 fans! What a finish.
Jamie Moore (Top trainer)
Up until Saturday night, it would have probably been Lennox Lewis’ knockout of Hasim Rahman in their rematch. But Joe Cordina’s KO of Kenichi Ogawa was one of the most perfectly delivered punches I’ve ever seen.
