Callum Walsh To Now Face Benjamin Whittaker on August 4 at The Quiet Cannon

Fast-rising Irish star ‘King’ Callum Walsh, (3-0, 3 KOs) has a new opponent for his next test as Benjamin Whittaker, (15-8, 3 KO), of San Antonio, TX steps in for Cleotis Pendarvis in the six-round main event on Thursday, August 4 at The Quiet Cannon. Walsh vs. Whittaker headlines 360 Promotions’ ‘Hollywood Fight Nights’, broadcast live internationally on UFC FIGHT PASS.

The Quiet Cannon is located at the Montebello Country Club, 901 via San Clemente, Montebello, CA 90640. Doors will open on the night of the event at 5:00 p.m. PT.

The 21-year old Walsh, a native of Cork, Ireland now residing in Long Beach, CA has quickly impressed on the international boxing scene with his first three professional bouts ending by knockout in the opening stanza. Most recently the heavy-handed southpaw stopped previously undefeated Luis Garcia in less than two minutes of the first round as UFC President Dana White watched from ringside. Walsh is trained by the renowned Hall of Famer Freddie Roach at Wild Card Boxing Gym in Hollywood, CA.

The battle-tested Whittaker has faced numerous world ranked contenders and undefeated prospects including Egidijus Kavaliauskas, Brian Norman Jr, Roberto Arriaza, DeAndre Smith, Keenan Smith and Skender Halili.
