MONTREAL – On Friday night, the boxing gala featuring Arslanbek Makhmudov (14-0, 14 KOs) will be held against Carlos Takam (39-6-1, 28 KOs) for the NABA, NABF and WBC Silver division titles.

In preparation for the event, the weigh-in was held today at the Montreal Casino, and both athletes stepped on the scale with 263.3 lbs for Makhmudov and 261.4 lbs for Takam.

In addition to this anticipated duel, Steven Butler (30-3-1, 25 KOs) will also step into the ring to face Mark DeLuca (28-3, 16 KOs) in an attempt to make another defense of his NABF middleweight title. The Quebec boxer has been swinging the scales at 160 lbs while the American’s weight was 158 lbs.
