Top Rank is once again set to fill an upcoming card with heaps of in-house prospects. In addition to the previously revealed heavyweight clash between Guido Vianello and Kingsley Ibeh, the October 3rd Jose Zepeda-Ivan Baranchyk event will feature the latest from Stockton lightweight Gabriel Flores Jr. alongside amateur standouts Haven Brady Jr. and Duke Ragan
The 20-year-old Flores (18-0, 6 KO) has maintained an appreciably busy schedule as a professional, fighting six times in 2018 and five times in 2019. This will be his third appearance of 2020, which has already seen him defeat Matt Conway and Josec Ruiz while only losing a single round on a single scorecard. Opponent Ryan Kielczweski (30-4, 11 KO) is a fairly standard stay-busy opponent, having dropped decisions to Miguel Flores, Frank De Alba, and Tommy Coyle in his most noteworthy bouts to date.
“I want to show everyone that I’m ready for bigger and better competition,” Flores said. “I’m prepared for a world title shot.”
“I’m excited to get back in the ring on Oct 3 against a very talented prospect. A win here will put me back where I need to be for bigger fights,” Kielczweski said. “I’d like to thank Murphys Boxing and Top Rank for giving me the opportunity to showcase my skills on such a high-level platform.”
Flores-Kielczweski will serve as the co-feature.
Besides Vianello-Ibeh, which was originally scheduled on July 21st, the card will see freshly signed Junior Olympics champ Brady make his professional debut, Ragan (1-0, 1 KO) make quick turnaround after a successful debut, and 5-2 heavyweight mixed martial artist Mitchell Sipe lace up the big gloves for the first time. All three of the above take on TBA, while Frevian Gonzalez (3-0, 1 KO) meets Carlos Marrero (2-3-1, 0 KO)
