Logan Paul: Jake is Not That YouTube Kid Anymore, No One Survives His Right Hand!

Boxing Scene

Older brother Logan Paul is not surprised with last Saturday’s performance by his younger brother, Jake Paul.

Jake Paul, who was taking part in his third pro boxing match, stopped MMA veteran Ben Askren in the first round at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

It only took one big right hand to send Askren crashing to the mat.

Logan, who himself is 0-1 as a pro boxer, says his 24-year-old brother is the real deal.

“What the f— did y’all expect?” Logan told MMA Junkie. “Stop doubting Jake. Every fight I’m like, ‘Ehhhh.’ Stop doubting Jake.”

While Jake Paul has the body, the size and he does have power in his punches – he’s yet to face an actual boxer.

In his pro debut, in 2020, he knocked out fellow Youtuber AnEsonGib in one round. He followed that up with a crushing two round knockout of NBA veteran Nate Robinson.

Askren, while very experienced in MMA and wrestling, had never boxed prior to facing Paul.

But, Jake Paul does move the needle when it comes to pay-per-view – because he possesses millions upon millions of followers on social media.

Because of those massive social media numbers, his fights are generating a tremendous amount of attention – and in recent months he’s been challenged by a large number of athletes and celebrities.

“He’s not who you think he is. He’s not the YouTube kid anymore,” Logan said. “He’s a f——- bad motherf—— with a heavy right hand. There’s a reason … no one can survive those. No one has. And he’s gonna continue doing so. Doubt him all you want, but you’re gonna be wrong every time.”
