No, a formal announcement for the undisputed heavyweight title unification between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua has not come to pass just yet, but the good news is Tyson Fury is still publicly talking as if he’ll be in the ring opposite Joshua in the near future. In fact Fury is even going so far as to tell the world that Joshua will be an easy fight for him, expecting to cut down the unified champion without much trouble at all.

“When [Anthony Joshua] gets cracked with all the muscles right in the jaw, he will go. I will tell you even what punch it’s going to be. I’ll even give my game plan away. It will be a check left hook straight to the temple. His legs will go, and he’ll fall on his face. He may get back up, and then I’ll knock him out with the overhand right, goodnight.”

Now as for when exactly a fight between Fury and Joshua will take place, we obviously don’t quite know for sure at this point. But Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn has been very confident that the fight will happen, almost reassuring fans not to get caught up in the negative storylines surrounding the fight.

As it so happens there’s a big fight on the DAZN schedule tonight between Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders, and there’s been some rumors swirling that some big news could drop during the broadcast. Follow along here for live coverage and updates!
