World Boxing Council lightweight champion Devin Haney (25-0, 15 KOs) and three-time world champion Jorge Linares (47-5, 29 KOs) took part in the 14-day weigh-in – as mandated by the WBC.

The fight will take place on May 29 at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, in the main event of a card being broadcast on DAZN.

Haney weighed in at 141.9-pounds, while Linares was 142.6-pounds.

Haney is getting ready at the Victor Conte’s SNAC training facility in California.

“The first time I came to SNAC, I was in training camp with Shawn Porter. I was fourteen back then, I mean, as time went on, I started to know Victor more and more,” Haney said.

Training at SNAC is the complete package, recovery, vitamins, track training, weight reduction protocol all rolled into one, and that’s what makes me strong. My best performances come from training here at SNAC, “

On the other side of the world, Linares is training at the Teiken Boxing Gym, one of the most respected boxing gyms in Japan since 1926.

“This is my time to show the world that I still have so much more to offer at  the135 pounds division. Devin Haney is a talented and fast young man. But when I was his age, I already was a world champion by snatching the featherweight title from a great champion like Oscar Larios. Now I have much more experience and I feel stronger and better than ever,” Linares said.
