Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao has conquered a who’s who of champions and belt-holders, from fly to super-welterweight
  1. MARCO ANTONIO BARRERA I
In November 2003, Pacquiao became more than just a belt-holder and heavy-handed curiosity when he ripped through his first legendary opponent, Marco Antonio Barrera, in 11 one-sided and brutal rounds.
  2. RICKY HATTON
On the wrong end of what was arguably the finest knockout of Pacquiao’s career, Hatton struggled getting to grips with the Filipino in 2009 and found himself then flattened in the second round.
  3. MIGUEL COTTO
After the Hatton thrashing, Pacquiao went on to overwhelm Puerto Rican hero Miguel Cotto, stopping him in the 12th and final round.
  4. ÉRIK MORALES II
After being outboxed by Morales the first time they met, Pacquiao made some necessary style adjustments to not only gain revenge second time around, in 2006, but also this time stop the Mexican, breaking him down in 10 rounds.
  5. ANTONIO MARGARITO
There was a mercilessness added to his usual relentlessness the night Pacquiao beat a tune on the face and body of controversial Mexican Antonio Margarito in 2010 in their 150lbs catchweight bout.
  6. OSCAR DE LA HOYA
Though De La Hoya was a shadow of his former self by the time they met in 2008, Pacquiao’s performance that night, and the sheer fact he was able to force De La Hoya to quit after eight rounds, heralded the emergence of a new boxing superstar.
  7. TIMOTHY BRADLEY II
Pacquiao had been on the receiving end of a contentious decision the first time these two met in 2012, so made no mistake in the rematch, dominating Bradley through most of the 12 rounds they shared in 2014.
  8. KEITH THURMAN
Not content with dominating his own era, Pacquiao, at 40, took to beating Keith Thurman, one of the best welterweights of the new generation, in 2019. Thurman was undefeated in 30 fights at the time but ended up being no match for Pac-Man’s greatness.
  9. DAVID DÍAZ
Pacquiao made a lightweight pitstop in June 2008 and announced his arrival with a vicious ninth-round knockout of David Díaz.
  10. LEHLOHONOLO LEDWABA
Pacquiao’s first fight in America, this sixth-round stoppage win over South African Ledwaba, also saw Pacquiao claim his first belt at super-bantam to put the rest of the division – and all those above – on notice.
