UFC Fight Pass subscribers will get to enjoy some Thursday night action next month when Hollywood Fight Nights rolls on with a 10-fight card on September 16th.
In the main event, once-beaten super welterweight Serhii Bohachuk (19-1, 19 KO) continues down the comeback trail against Raphael Igbokwe (16-2, 7 KO). Bohachuk, who lost his unbeaten record to Brandon Adams in March, returned to the win column in July and faces a southpaw in Igbokwe whose best wins came over Genc Pllana.
The co-main sees super middleweight Ali Akhmedov (16-1, 12 KO) return to the ring for the first time since last December’s dramatic knockout loss to Carlos Gongora. He faces David Zegarra (34-5, 21 KO), who’s in the midst of a two-fight losing streak and got blown up in two by David Lemieux last time out.
Other fighters of note include Abel Sanchez protege Rafayel Simonyan (9-1, 8 KO), unbeaten prospects Adrian Corona (7-0, 1 KO) of Rialto, CA and Daniel Robles, (7-0-1, 5 KO) duking it out, and an amateur “special attraction” featuring six-time national champion and recent Nike signee Chantel Navarro.
