Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant will go face-to-face today, with the two fighters meeting at the press conference to fully, officially announce their Nov. 6 undisputed super middleweight championship fight.
Showtime will have the fight on pay-per-view from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on that date, and today the fighters will be at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
The presser will stream live at 4:30 pm ET in the video embedded up top.
Alvarez (56-1-2, 38 KO) will be defending the WBC, WBA, and WBO titles against the IBF belt held by Plant (21-0, 12 KO), who will be taking a massive step up in competition but carries a real confidence into the ring, too.
The bout will be Canelo’s first off of DAZN since 2018, and his first with Showtime branding since 2014. The bout was originally negotiated with a Sept. 18 date in mind, but couldn’t get done in time, and has instead come off for the November date.
