How to watch Whyte vs Povetkin

Fighting

Dillian Whyte and Alexander Povetkin are set for a 12-round heavyweight main event on Saturday, Aug. 22, live from Matchroom Boxing HQ in Brentwood, England, the biggest fight we’ve had in boxing in several months and a pivotal bout for both contenders.

Whyte (27-1, 18 KO) is one fight away from a guaranteed WBC title shot, with that belt currently held by Tyson Fury, but Povetkin (35-2-1, 24 KO) is a very dangerous opponent, a crafty and skilled veteran who doesn’t figure to go easy.

The show will also feature the rematch between lightweight champion Katie Taylor (15-0, 6 KO) and Delfine Persoon (44-2, 18 KO), plus three more bouts on the undercard.
