Former WBO cruiserweight king Marco Huck, now campaigning at heavyweight, outscored Dennis Lewandowski over ten last night (Aug 29) in Braunlage.
Huck won every round against the somewhat – 152 kg / 335 lbs – overweight Lewandowski.
Huck is now 42-5-1 while Lewandowski suffered his fourth straight loss and is now 13-5.
On the undercard Tahir Kahrovic a/k/a Timmy Punch (17-0) stopped Hungarian Zoltan Sera (32-22-1) in three to win the vacant Int’l German - BDB version – title.
Polish super welterweight veteran Rafal Jackiewicz (52-26-2) scored an upset and controversial win over Rico Meuller (25-4-1) in a six-rounder.
Polish super welterweight Maciej Sulecki won on scores of 100-90 on all cards against Belgian Sasha Yengoyan on August 29 in Suwalki.
Super welterweight Przemyslaw Zysk (14-0) outscored Finn Tomi Silvennoinen (9-2) over eight on scores of 78-74 twice and 77-75.
Prior to the show it was announced that cruiserweight Mateusz Masternak (41-5) is back in the pros and havssigned with Knockout Promotions headed by Andrew Wasilewski. Masternak will take on Taylor Mabika September 19.
The former EBU champ and world title challenger has been fighting as an amateur recently in an effort to make it to the Tokyo Olympics but when the games were postponed he gave up his dream and returned to the pros.
