As previously reported, EBU featherweight champion Jordan Gill (27-1-1) defends the title against veteran Kiko Martinez (43-11-2) on October 29 at the Wembley Arena in London on a Matchroom promotion. This is also an IBF eliminator, writes Espabox and if Martinez wins he might get a rematch against Josh Warrington, who stopped Martinez under controversial circumstances using his head more than his fists.

Martinez was advised to retire by his team after the fight but insisted on one more big fight and here it is. Kiko has held the IBF title at super bantam and featherweight and the EBU super bantamweight title.

Polish Knockout Promotions headed by Andrew Wasilewski won the purse bids for the right to stage the fight for the vacant EBU cruiserweight title between Frenchman Dylan Bregeon (12-2-1) and Pole Krzysztof Glowacki (32-3).. When and where the fight will go ahead is to be announced.

The title was left vacant by Chris Billam-Smith, who is off to a possible world title fight.

KAIF Boxpromotion stage a big show on September 24 in Ludwigshafen, Germany, topped by a fight for the IBF European title at super welter between Ahmad Ali (17-0-1) and Italian Felipe Moncelli (23-7-1). Also on the bill is a fight between cruisers Husein Cinkara (18-0) and Al Sands (22-4-1) for the WBA International title.

On the undercard super middle Leon Bauer (18-0-1) looks to get his career back on track as he is in against Colombian Hancel Gonzales (7-0). Bauer, still only 24, turned pro in 2015  in a career that’s never really taken off despite the unbeaten record.

Welters Jordy Weiss (29-0) and Belgian Meriton Karaxha (29-6-3) clash for the vacant IBO Inter-Continental title October 29 in Laval, France.

It’s a good matchup and one that is likely to go the distance as Weiss has only three stoppages in his 29 wins while Karaxha has ended matters ten times before the final bell.

Swedish light heavyweight Oscar Ahlin (21-2) returns to action October 1 in Brussels, Belgium, with an eight-rounder against an opponent to be announced.

Ahlin’s last fight took place in March of 2021 when he beat Alpay Yaman to win the IBO Continental title and was lined up for another fight in August but first the opponent pulled out and then Oscar suffered a bad shoulder injury that kept him out of the ring since then.
